WE LIKE TO KEEP THINGS SIMPLE AND TASTY.
While we are working towards our first permanent location in Seattle, we thought it would be fun to rent out a café and introduce ourselves. We absolutely realize the absurdity of a pop-up coffee shop in another coffee shop, but we kind of like the weird stuff. At our temporary location, Anchored Ship in Ballard, we offer a limited espresso bar menu featuring various single origin coffees roasted by Counter Culture Coffee. We are also super excited to release this summer's Mmmhmm Coffee Cocktails!
We are very excited to announce that this month we will be featuring Tequila and Coffee Cocktails. Just like coffee, a killer Tequila has a pleasant acidity, sweetness, and balance. It is a great compliment to this season's Ethiopian coffee offerings.
In addition to our coffee cocktails we are now offering Street Snacks.
Organic hot dogs in a sour dough Macrina baguette stuffed with toppings // Medjool dates & goat cheese wrapped in bacon // mixed greens salad // Roasted red pepper, caramelized onions, & dill potato salad
We think coffee, brewed well, is pretty freakin' sweet all by itself. Rather than offering a customizable menu with size options and flavor additives (common in most cafe's), we offer a very simple experience with espresso and milk.
Our espresso menu includes single origin espresso, macchiato (2.5oz.), cortado (4.5oz.), and latte (8oz.).
Our filtered coffee menu features a selection of this season's most balanced, sweet, and bright coffees. Pour over method only, our coffees are brewed to order.
We also have a limited selection of teas and iced drinks.
To some this may seem a bit pretentious...and it is...but we are at least nice about it.
Check out our pour over bar, which is currently stationed at Hilliards Beer in Ballard on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 11:00am to 3:00pm. We have partnered up with Biscuit Box to bring you coffee, beer, and brekky - a weekend brunch with your favorite beverages. We love a good cup of brewed coffee so much that we decided it's all we want on the menu.
